Effluent Pumps

Effluent Pumps are mainly used to move semi-clear water in septic applications.  They are like sump pumps on steriods.  Built with better bearings, seals and, often with greater horsepower motors, effluent pumps can also be used for higher volume sump and intermittent dewatering.  Effluent pumps are marked by their ability to  convey liquids containing 5/8" to 3/4" solids.  Filtered Effluent pumps are cousins to water-well pumps. Turbine's pump greater pressure and higher heads than centrifugal pumps. Turbine pumps have limited ability to pump solids.
